In-House Laboratory
Invision Optical has been serving the community for over 30 years. Our highly qualified and experienced team of Opticians have been very fortunate to use in house, state of the art optical equipment. Our premium quality lenses and the advanced laboratory equipment enable us to offer quick turnaround with high precision optical results.
Safety Eyeglasses
Prescription Safety glasses are manufactured according to high specification standards and are designed to withstand some of the toughest working conditions.
Our experienced team at Invision Optical will assist you in finding prescription safety eyewear that meet your visual needs as well your rigorous safety standards.
We are also a participating Eyesafe Clinic. Eyesafe is administered by the Alberta Association of Optometrists, it is non-profit and Alberta’s largest workplace eye safety program.
Sunglasses
Sunglasses are crucial at protecting your eyes from UV rays and the Blue Light of the solar spectrum. Not only do they shield your eyes from the sun but they also increase your comfort level against light sensitivity. Kids’ Eyeglasses
A child’s visual system is constantly growing and eyeglasses may play a crucial role in the proper development of vision. We offer a large variety of fun and durable eyeglasses for kids of all ages. At Invision Optical you will be able to find affordable kid’s packages that fit your budget but also ensure appropriate visual correction for your child.
We also participate in the Eye See…Eye Learn™ Program. Eye See . . . Eye Learn™ is a program for kindergarten-aged children. Any child who has a comprehensive eye exam by a doctor of optometry and requires eye glasses will be provided with a free pair. Eye See...Eye Learn Program
Do You Suffer From Dry Eyes?
Digital Eye Strain
As Eye Care professionals, all the staff at Invision Optical offer solutions to relieve digital eye strain symptoms such as headaches, blurriness, tired, sore and itchy eyes. We offer the latest in lens technology and anti fatigue coatings to protect and relax eye fatigue for your connected life.
Dry Eyes
In addition, styes, sinus pressure and tension can lead to eye strain and red, burning eyes. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms it could be due to Dry Eye disease. At Invision Optical we carry ocular hygiene products which are preservative and phosphate free as well as relief hot and cold therapy eye masks.
Treatment Options
At Invision we offer a large array of dry eye products. All of these products are doctor recommended for dry eye relief but finding the right ones for your specific type of dry eyes requires a comprehensive dry eye evaluation with one of our doctors. Please contact us to book your dry eye exam and we will address your needs appropriately.
Direct Billing
At Invision Optical we also offer direct billing to your insurance provider in order to make your visit as convenient as possible. Some of the providers we can direct bill include: Alberta Works, Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Great West, AISH and many more.
